The Heritage Society of Washington County invites the public to celebrate and maintain the history of the county at its annual Spring Gala.

This year’s event, themed “A Night Under the Texas Stars,” will be held at the Giddings Stone Mansion on Friday, May 14th.

The gala will feature a catered dinner, live music by the Black Cat Choir, an open bar, auctions, and a special presentation of the 2021 Senior Belles.  The Heritage Society will also honor Charles and Traci Pyle for their years of support.

The 2021 Class of Senior Belles includes Haley Andrejczak, Lauren Baker, Elizabeth Chisolm, Abby Clayton, Annie Clepper, Harley Coghlan, Kirbie Faour, Ryann Fatheree, Clara Hamilton, Jenna Hardy, Kaitlyn Kuehn, Annie Loomis, MacKenzie Maurer-McMillan, Jenna Maxwell, Alyssa Pauler, Kayci Pharaon, Moriah Renken, Kate Roberts, Rachel Saunders, Madison Schulz, Abigail Stolz, Shayle Woods, Claire Yackel, and Berit Zuch.

Proceeds from the gala go directly to the restoration and beautification of the Giddings Stone Mansion and Giddings Wilkin House Museum.  The Belle program works throughout the year to educate the community about the houses and families that helped build Washington County.
