COVID-19 VACCINES AT ROUND TOP ANTIQUES SHOW THROUGH SATURDAY
Shoppers and dealers at the Round Top Antiques Show have the opportunity to be vaccinated for COVID-19.
Approximately 200 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered daily through Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. each day at the Warrenton Fire Station. The free vaccine clinic is being hosted by the Fayette County Office of Emergency Management in conjunction with the Round Top-Warrenton Fire Department, Texas Division of Emergency Management and Texas Military Division.
Fayette County Emergency Management Chief Craig Moreau says the reception of the vaccine clinic so far has been very positive.
Moreau says these vaccines particularly benefit those who make their living out of working at antique fairs like these.
Residents can register onsite at the clinic, which will continue as long as vaccines are available. Priority will be given to those 65 and older, along with others who are included in the 1A, 1B and 1C vaccination categories.
