LEE CO. WOMAN CHARGED WITH MURDER OF MAN FOUND DEAD IN ROADWAY
A Lee County woman is charged with murder after authorities discovered a man’s body in a local roadway.

41-year-old Jennifer Redden Kramer of Blue was arrested Tuesday for the death of 34-year-old Christopher Michael Gonzales.
Just before midnight Saturday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a man lying on County Road 306 in the Blue area, west of Lexington. EMS officials found the man had died from multiple stab wounds to the chest.
After Gonzales was identified by the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office, Lee County Sheriff’s investigators interviewed Kramer, who they say confessed to the murder. Investigators also obtained evidence corroborating the confession.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Kramer and Gonzales were roommates.
Kramer is being held in the Lee County Jail on $350,000 bond.
