BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL RETURNS TO CHAPPELL HILL THIS WEEKEND
It’s bluebonnet time in Chappell Hill.
The “Official Bluebonnet Festival of Texas” comes back to downtown Chappell Hill this Saturday and Sunday, after being cancelled last year due to COVID-19. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, guests can browse through juried arts and craft vendors, enjoy live music, and take part in many other family-friendly activities.
Joel Romo of the Chappell Hill Historical Society says there will be hundreds of vendors selling a wide variety of items.
Entertainment at the Poplar Street Stage includes the Loophole Band, Cloggers Unlimited and the Texas 105 Band on Saturday, followed by the John Swat Band, Jeff Jacobs and the Tusk Band on Sunday.
Romo says the festival has a little bit of something for everyone.
Admission to the event is free, and parking is $10. All proceeds benefit the Chappell Hill Historical Society.
Anyone bringing pets is asked to keep them on a leash.

KTEX-106’s Tracey Lawless will be at the Bluebonnet Festival Saturday morning, broadcasting live on KWHI and KTEX-106.
