KWHI ‘CANDIDATES FORUM’ FOR BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL WEDNESDAY
KWHI will host the first of two “Candidates Forums” tonight (Wednesday) for the local races in May’s election.
Tonight’s forum, featuring the six candidates for the contested Brenham City Council race, will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Brenham National Bank.
Ward 1 incumbent Keith Herring and challenger Shannan Canales, At-Large Position 5 incumbent Clint Kolby and challenger Allan Colvin, and At-Large Position 6 candidates Albert Buchanan and Leah Cook have all been invited and plan to attend the forum.
While the forum will not be open to attendance from the general public due to COVID-19, members of the public can still submit questions prior to and during the forum by emailing mail@kwhi.com.
KWHI’s Ed Pothul will moderate the forum and take questions from the public and from news media.
The forum will be broadcast live on KWHI AM 1280 and FM 101.7. It will also be streamed live on kwhi.com and on the KWHI mobile app.
The forum for the Brenham School Board will be held next Wednesday, April 14th at 5:30 p.m., also at Brenham National Bank.
Those of us against Sandy Point are not misinformed. The only misinformation came from the developer.
The figures did not add up. If he could build it there, he can certainly build it somewhere else in or near town. Why was there just one chance to build it? Fly by night.
