HOUSTON MAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP

A Houston-area man faces charges after a Tuesday afternoon traffic stop.
26-year-old Kalan Tyler Carey of Friendswood was pulled over just after 4:30, after police spotted him driving on the wrong side of the road.
During the stop, police noted the odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Carey was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
He was transported to the Washington County Jail.
