LOCAL WOMAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGE

A Brenham woman is in police custody after her arrest, late Saturday night.
33-year-old Kristin Dean of Brenham was taken into custody after police were called to a disturbance just after 10:00 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Chappell Hill Street.
At the scene, an investigation led to the arrest of Dean on a charge of Assault Family Violence Injury to Family Member. She was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
