KRAUSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS RAISE OVER $13,000 FOR KIDS HEART CHALLENGE

Students at Krause Elementary School raised thousands of dollars in support of the American Heart Association.
Through the Kids Heart Challenge, where students learn about their heart and the importance of adopting healthy habits early in life, students raised $13,388. The program ran for a total of four weeks, and helps individuals with heart defects.
Out of the Krause Elementary School students who participated in the challenge, Averey Johnson was recognized as the top donor, raising $1,097.
Students had a fun incentive to raise over $150 for the challenge, as those who did were able to slime their principal, Courtney Mason.
