The Heritage Society of Washington County will celebrate the history of the county at its annual Spring Gala tonight (Friday).

“A Night Under the Texas Stars” will be held at the Giddings Stone Mansion starting at 6 p.m.

The highlight of the gala will be the presentation of the 2021 Senior Belles, which include: Haley Andrejczak, Lauren Baker, Elizabeth Chisolm, Abby Clayton, Annie Clepper, Harley Coghlan, Kirbie Faour, Ryann Fatheree, Clara Hamilton, Jenna Hardy, Kaitlyn Kuehn, Annie Loomis, MacKenzie Maurer-McMillan, Jenna Maxwell, Alyssa Pauler, Kayci Pharaon, Moriah Renken, Kate Roberts, Rachel Saunders, Madison Schulz, Abigail Stolz, Shayle Woods, Claire Yackel, and Berit Zuch.

Also at tonight’s event, the Heritage Society will honor Charles and Traci Pyle for their years of support.

The gala will also feature a catered dinner, an open bar, live and silent auctions, and live music from the Black Cat Choir.

Proceeds from the gala go directly to the restoration and beautification of the Giddings Stone Mansion and Giddings Wilkin House Museum.  The Belle program works throughout the year to educate the community about the houses and families that helped build Washington County.
