CHAPPELL HILL 4TH OF JULY EVENTS CONTINUING DESPITE RAIN

  

Organizers of the Independence Day activities today (Saturday) in Chappell Hill say they will continue as planned despite the weather.

Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce President Joel Romo says this afternoon's events, including a car show, live music with Rob Moorman and Company, and a lighted parade featuring the "World Famous Marching Kazoo Band" will proceed as scheduled in downtown Chappell Hill.

Rob Moorman and Company will play until 7 p.m., leading up to the start of the parade at 7:30 p.m.

KWHI will have a live broadcast of the parade beginning at 7:15 p.m.
