HOT NIGHTS, COOL TUNES KICKS OFF SATURDAY WITH THE FAB 5
This weekend marks the beginning of the much-anticipated “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” summer concert series in downtown Brenham.
The 17th season of “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” gets underway Saturday with The Fab 5, which plays hits from The Beatles and other groups from the British Invasion of the ‘60s and ‘70s. The group was voted best cover/tribute band by the Houston Press from 2011-2015.
Saturday’s concert is sponsored by Tippit Dental Group, Dahmann and Associates representing Germania Insurance, Seidel Schroeder and Brenham National Bank.
Each of this month’s concerts take place at 7 p.m. every Saturday night on the courthouse square, and are free to the public.
Families are invited to bring their lawn chairs and enjoy food and drinks from local businesses and vendors. The Stray Katz Car Club will also be on hand during each of the concerts, hosting their popular cruise-in of classic cars and hot rods at the west end of Alamo Street.
