UNITY THEATRE REVEALS SHOWS FOR 2021-22 SEASON

  

Unity Theatre in Brenham has announced its lineup of shows for the 2021-22 season.

Four Main Stage Series shows and two Studio Series shows make up the upcoming season, which will offer a return to full capacity performances.

The season will open with the Main Stage production Barefoot in the Park, a romantic comedy by Neil Simon, playing September 23 – October 10.

Up next is the first Studio Series production of the season, The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey, a drama by James Lecesne, set for October 21 – 31.

Following that will be A Tuna Christmas, a comedy by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard.  The second Main Stage show will run December 2 – 19.

Kicking off 2022 is the romantic comedy Now and Then by Sean Grennan, playing on the Main Stage February 10 – 27, 2022.

The second and final Studio Series production is Mrs. Mannerly, a comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher, playing March 31 – April 10, 2022.

Concluding the season on the Main Stage is The Sweet Delilah Swim Club—renamed from The Dixie Swim Club—by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.  The comedy will be performed June 2 – 19, 2022.

Any subscribers who purchased a FOREVER subscription last season will able to use tickets for a cancelled performance into this season.
