FIVE SENTENCED IN LATEST DISTRICT COURT

  

 

A Houston-area man has been sentenced to prison time in the latest edition of 21st Judicial District Court in Washington County.

37-year-old Robert Charles Heck, of Spring, pleaded guilty to Bail Jumping and Fail to Appear – a Third Degree Felony Enhanced to Second Degree Felony.  He was sentenced to seven years in prison.  The charges stem from Heck’s arrest in February of 2018.

Heck was also sentenced to two years in prison for Felony, Credit/Debit Card Abuse, from May of 2017.  Heck will serve the sentences concurrently.

Also in District Court:

52-year-old Michael Joseph Rocha, of Houston, was sentenced to five years in prison on each of three convictions for Theft of Property/Less than $2500, 2 or More Previous Convictions – State Jail Felonies Enhanced to Second Degree Felonies.

Rocha was also ordered to pay over $1100 in restitution.

27-year-old Megan Dawn Gandy of Houston was placed on four years’ probation on two charges of Possession of Controlled Substance – a Third Degree Felony.

Gandy was also fined $500 and ordered to attend a drug offender education program and perform 200 hours of Community Service restitution.

44-year-old Jerald Wayne Adams of Brenham received two years’ probation and fined $500 for Possession of a Controlled Substance – a Class A Misdemeanor.

And, 22-year-old Richard Louis Winkelman, II, of Brenham, was sentenced to four years’ probation for a 2018 arrest for Theft of Property Between $2500-and-$30,000 – a State Jail Felony.  Winkelmann must also perform 200 hours of Community Service.
