BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO CONSIDER FLAGPOLE, STREET REPAIRS
Two repair items will be considered by the Burton City Council at its meeting Tuesday.
The council will first look at repairing or replacing the lights that shine on the flagpoles on Highway 290 in Burton. The item was brought before councilmembers last month when they received a quote of $1,876 from Harmel Electric to fix the two poles, but the item was tabled, as the contractor did not provide full specifications for the repairs.
Councilmembers will also consider approving Lucherk Services to repair Texas Street west of Railroad Street, by Los Patrones.
The council will meet Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. at Burton City Hall.
