ONE HOSPITALIZED AFTER ROLLOVER NORTHEAST OF BRENHAM

  

Update @ 3:25 p.m.: One person was flown to the hospital after a one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday night northeast of Brenham.

The accident occurred just before 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of FM 1155 and FM 2193, east of Highway 105.

According to DPS Sergeant Justin Ruiz, a 1995 Jeep driven by 35-year-old Joshua Wiesepape of Brenham was traveling east on FM 1155 when it approached a curve too quickly and drove off the eastbound side of the road.  The Jeep then overcorrected, going into the westbound ditch where it began to roll over.

Wiesepape, who was wearing the vehicle’s shoulder strap seat belt but not its lap strap, was ejected from the vehicle.

Wiesepape was flown to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.  According to Sgt. Ruiz, he is in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported.

According to Washington County EMS, one patient was flown to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.  The patient’s condition is unknown.  No other injuries were reported.
