OUTSTANDING WASHINGTON CO. 4-H MEMBERS HONORED AT FAMILY NIGHT
Youth in Washington County 4-H were recognized for their accomplishments Friday night at the annual 4-H Family Night and Awards Banquet.
The awards ceremony, held at the St. Stanislaus Church Hall in Chappell Hill, honored 4-H members and contributors for their efforts over the past year.

Rookie of the Year: Hunter Janner
Bronze Star Awards: Lane Damron and Nolan Wunderlich
Silver Star Awards: Dawson Moran and Hailey Rudloff
Workhorse Awards: Waylon Hinze, Katie Mikolajchak, Addison Schramme
I Dare You Awards: Emmy Kate Boyd, Weston Hinze, Madison Moran
Gold Star Awards: Keely Mikolajchak, Kenley Mikolajchak and Rachel Wynans
Friend of 4-H Award: Brenham Banner-Press
4-H Family of the Year: The Rudloff family – Cliff, Marissa, Dawson and Hailey.
4-H Alumni of the Year: Christy Moran
Clayton Boeker received the Bluebonnet Master Gardener Association Scholarship, Extension Education Association Scholarship and the LaNell Seeker Memorial Scholarship presented by the Seeker family. Jacob Counts received the Gideon Lincecum Master Naturalist Scholarship.
Newly installed officers for the 2021-22 Washington County 4-H Council are Emmy Kate Boyd, Waylon Hinze, Weston Hinze, Katie Mikolajchak, Keely Mikolajchak, Kenley Mikolajchak, Dawson Rudloff, Eli Saunders and Dalton Winkelmann.
Retiring 4-H Senior Council officers are Clayton Boeker, Parker Mason and Rachel Wynans.
