BURTON ISD INTRODUCES TEACHERS, SPORTS TEAMS
The Burton High School gym was packed Wednesday night to kick off the fall sports season.
Burton ISD supporters gathered for “Meet Your Panthers,” which presented the members of Burton’s athletic programs.
The Burton Panther football and volleyball teams, coaches, cheerleaders and band were all introduced.
The event was held after the “Meet the Teacher” orientation at Burton Elementary School, which allowed students to interact with their teachers, pick up schedules and receive COVID-19 vaccines.
The football season begins on Friday, August 27th, when the Panthers host the Holland Hornets. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at Panther Stadium.
