BLINN BOARD TO VOTE ON 2021 TAX RATE

  

The Blinn Board of Trustees will vote on the proposed 2021 tax rate at its meeting tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Blinn College District is proposing a tax rate of $0.0513 per $100 valuation.  The College’s 2020 tax rate was $0.0560 per $100.

The board will also consider a contract for construction manager at risk services for the Old Main Building on the Brenham Campus, along with a contract for districtwide copy and print services.

Prior to its regular meeting, trustees will hold a workshop to discuss the proposed implementation of the first phase of the districtwide facilities master plan.

The board will meet at 4 p.m. for the workshop and at 5:30 p.m. for its regular meeting.  Both meetings will be held in the board room at the Brenham Campus Administration Building.
