CONGRESSMAN McCAUL TO JOIN KWHI TUESDAY TO DISCUSS AFGHANISTAN, SOUTHERN BORDER

U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul will join KWHI tomorrow (Tuesday) for an in-studio interview to discuss the current situations in Afghanistan and at the U.S.-Mexico border.
McCaul will speak during KWHI’s noon newscast on the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan following President Joe Biden’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from the country. He will also discuss the southern border, where U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered over 210,000 migrants in July, the highest monthly number in two decades.
McCaul, representing Texas’ 10th Congressional District, is a member of the House Homeland Security Committee and is the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
KWHI will feature McCaul from 12:30 to 12:45 p.m. on AM 1280, FM 101.7 and kwhi.com.
