BURLESON CO. CHIEF DEPUTY OUT OF HOSPITAL

  

Burleson County’s Chief Deputy is out of the hospital after being shot while attempting to serve an arrest warrant Tuesday night.

John Pollock was released this (Friday) afternoon from CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan.

In a Facebook post from Wednesday, Pollock said he and his family were “overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and of support” they received from loved ones and the community.

Pollock underwent surgery Wednesday afternoon for injuries to his jaw, and is expected to fully recover.

A GoFundMe has been established to help Pollock and his family with his recovery and with expenses from possible surgeries in the future.  The link to the GoFundMe is available here.
