Officials in Burleson County are expressing their appreciation for the assistance they received in last week’s standoff, west of Snook.

Burleson County Judge, Keith Schroeder; Burleson County Sheriff, Gene Hermes; Burleson County Office of Emergency Management, Duane Strange; and Burleson County Attorney, Susan Deski publicly expressed their deepest appreciation to all law enforcement, fire departments, EMS, District Attorney’s offices and the community for their assistance in the eight-hour standoff.

They also thanked all our community members who sent out thoughts and prayers for all responders.
