The Fayette County Fair crowned royalty Thursday night at its fair pageant.

The 2021 Fayette County Fair Queen, with $27,510 worth of season pass sales, was Charlee Wessels representing Cen Tex Storm.  Wessels also sold $13,230 in carnival passes, the most of any of the fair queen candidates.

First Runner Up was Brynna Stackhouse representing the Fayette County Sheriff’s Memorial and Benevolent Society, with sales of $19,545.  Second Runner Up was Kayler Burnett representing Kyla Faith Memorial, with sales of $18,200.  Rory Halpain, representing the La Grange Noon Lions Club, was Third Runner Up with sales of $14,130.

Stackhouse was named Most Photogenic and Miss Beauty and Poise in the Queens Contest, while Braidy Fike was the winner of Miss Congeniality.

Over 2,750 season passes were sold this year for $96,500, compared to nearly 1,200 season passes at last year’s fair.  Queen candidates sold 1,930 carnival tickets for $38,590.  The 2021 fair sold $135,090 in total presale tickets.

In the Little Mister and Miss Pageant, Bella Hernandez was named Little Miss Fayette County, while Kolby Walker was named Little Mister Fayette County.  First Runner Ups were Nora Barnett and Gage Stott, and Second Runner Ups were Carlie Jo Finke and Landon Wagner.  Hernandez and Wagner were the winners of Best Personality, while Barnett and Stott won Most Photogenic.
