FARM ACCIDENT CLAIMS FAYETTE CO. MAN’S LIFE
A Fayette Co. man is dead following an accident on a farm near Winchester.
Emergency crews were called out to property on Reinsch Road just after 7:00 p.m., Monday.
At the scene, authorities say 60-year-old Thomas Hudson had died from injuries he sustained from a deer stand that had fallen on him as he was attempting to relocate it.
Precinct One Justice of the Peace Kyle Hartmann conducted an inquest and ruled the cause of death was accidental.
Along with the Fayette Co. Sheriff’s Department, the Fayette Co. Medic 1, EMS and the Winchester Fire Department all responded to the scene.
