MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH COMING TO THE BARNHILL CENTER
The music of the late Johnny Cash will soon fill The Barnhill Center in downtown Brenham.
Bennie Wheels and his band, “Walkin’ The Line”, will perform at The Barnhill Center (TBC) on Saturday, October 9th at 7 p.m.
TBC Producer Sharon Brass called the group “the ultimate tribute to Johnny Cash,” saying it delivers “a very authentic representation of Cash, his songs, his band and his unique harmonies with June Carter.”
Now touring the United States, Wheels performs as Cash multiple times each week at performing arts centers, corporate events, resorts, fairs, festivals and casinos.
Bob Wootton, Cash’s lead guitarist, said, “Bennie is no doubt the best tribute to John I’ve ever seen.”
