Twenty-eight indictments were returned during this week’s meeting of the Washington County Grand Jury.
Among those indicted:
20-year-old Tyler Philipp of Valley Mills, Sexual Assault.
39-year-old Anthony Contee, Sr. of Brenham, Assault of a Family Member Impeding Breath or Circulation.
32-year-old Grant Edwin Carden of Pasadena, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle (Deadly Weapon), Evading Arrest with Prior Conviction and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, all enhanced to Habitual Offender.
41-year-old Freddie Akens, Jr. of Hempstead and 20-year-old Noe Ochoa, II of San Antonio, both for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle.
25-year-old Gamarcus Dewayne Sheppard of Brenham, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle.
56-year-old James David Kincheloe of Bertram, Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More Offense (Repeat Felony Offender).
36-year-old Stephanie Nicole Durnan of Brenham, Driving While Intoxicated with a Child Passenger.
45-year-old Ronald Lamont Guyton of Ledbetter, three counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and one count of Attempted Tampering with Physical Evidence.
23-year-old Donavan Olyn Houston of Austin, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
39-year-old Earl Alexander Daniels of Brenham, Criminal Mischief between $2,500 and $30,000 and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
26-year-old Cheyenne Gerette Deegan of Flower Mound, 27-year-old Samantha Garcia of Houston, 39-year-old David Edward Gurley of Brenham, 21-year-old April Horn of Bastrop and 34-year-old Jonathan Rutherford of Driftwood, all for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

19-year-old Luis Anthony Avalos of Brenham, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Injury to a Child.
24-year-old Gustavo Enrique Salas of Chappell Hill, Sexual Assault of a Child.
31-year-old Francisco Lopez of Brenham, Assault Intentionally or Recklessly Impeding Breath or Circulation of a Family Member.
Being handled by a special prosecutor and indicted this week:
53-year-old Jeffery Harris of Houston, Assault by Occlusion.
