BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO CONSIDER HIRING OF IT SYSTEM’S COORDINATOR

  

The hiring of an IT system’s coordinator will be among the topics discussed at Monday’s meeting of the Brenham School Board.

Trustees will meet in executive session to discuss approval of the coordinator position.

Also on Monday, the board will consider removing local graduation requirements and adopting the state graduation requirements contained in the Foundation Plan with Endorsement.  It will also hear a district COVID-19 update.

Other items on Monday’s agenda include:

  • A board resolution declaring October 13th as Texas Education Human Resources Day.
  • A board resolution nominating candidates for membership on the Washington County Tax Appraisal District Board of Directors.
  • Possible approval of a grade 7 reading instrument waiver request.
  • Potential approval of a purchasing vendor list.
  • A second reading of revisions to policy pertaining to innovation districts, employment requirements and restrictions, credentials and records, probationary contracts and assignments and schedules.

The board will meet Monday at noon at the Brenham ISD Administration Office.  The meeting will be livestreamed on Brenham ISD's YouTube channel.
