WASHINGTON CO. MAN CHARGED WITH AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

A Washington County man is in jail on an aggravated assault charge.
Friday, Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at around 3:30 p.m. to an assault call on Pecan Mill Lane, west of Brenham off of Old Mill Creek Road.
18-year-old Brayden Edward Lopez was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury. His bond is set at $100,000.
Washington County Sheriff Otto Hanak said no further information can be released at this time, as the case remains under investigation.
