KWHI TO GIVE AWAY DOZENS OF PRIZES AT HALLOWEEN PARTY
This year’s “on the radio” Halloween Party at KWHI promises to be bigger and more fun than ever.
KWHI has aired its annual Halloween Party on Halloween Night for more than 50 years as a way to get trick or treaters safely back home at an early hour. This year’s prize list includes over 50 prizes with everything from a Light up Hover Board from Brenham Ace Hardware to a Princess Castle Tent from Brenham Family Dental. KWHI will also be giving away JBL wireless headsets from Christy Schlottmann Farmers Insurance, a remote control Jeep Wrangler from Brenham Chrysler Dodge Jeep, a LEGO Dots Creative Party Kit from Performance Health and Wellness, a wireless Karaoke microphone from First Finance, and the grand prize of a bicycle from Mr. Windshield.
Promotions Director Crystal Ray says the prizes are great for kids of all ages.
Entry cards for KWHI’s Halloween Party are being distributed in a variety of ways. Students in Brenham ISD are receiving their entry cards through the Peach Jar portal where they can be printed and also enter online. Students in Burton ISD, private schools and daycares are receiving their entry cards from their teachers. Or you can print the card and enter online at the top of the KWHI website, KWHI.com. KWHI’s office at 223 East Main Street in Brenham also has cards available for home schooled children.

Ray says to make sure to hold on to the party cards, because they have valuable coupons to Burger King, Horseshoe Junction, Whataburger and Bush's Chicken.
Other prizes include a radio controlled drone with camera from Padgett Hearing Aid Center, a Melissa and Doug Pizza Playset from Volare’ Italian Restaurant, an Amazon Echo Dot from Kool Shades Window Tint, and a dozen cupcakes each month for a year from Smitty’s Café and Bakery. Altman Dentistry is giving away a Fujifilm Mini 9 Instant Camera, Deep in the Heart Farms is providing a portable Corn Hole game set, and Mariachi’s Mexican Restaurant is giving away a Mermaid’s Tail blanket. Prizes will also be awarded from Hermann Furniture, The Barnhill House Toys and Books, Smile Keepers, LaRoche Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, The Yard, Brannon Industrial Group and Plants ‘n Things. Other sponsors include Bilski Water Well Service, Network Finance, La Morelos Meat Market, Norman’s Pharmacy, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union and A Little Piece of Mexico. Kids and parents have until October 29th to get their entry cards submitted by mail, in person or online. KWHI’s annual Halloween Party will air Sunday night, October 31st beginning at 7 p.m. on AM 1280 and FM 101.7.
