DPS has released the name of the driver killed in a fatal crash between a Jeep SUV and a semi Monday afternoon in Burleson County.

57-year-old Beth Richmond of Caldwell was killed in the accident, which occurred when a semi headed north on FM 50 pulled out in front of the Jeep that was driving east on Highway 21.  DPS says the Jeep went partially under the trailer.

A passenger in the Jeep, 53-year-old Robert Richmond of Caldwell, remains in serious condition after being flown to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital in Bryan.

The driver of the semi, from Belton, was not injured and was cited for failing to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
