EARLY VOTING WINDING DOWN; LAST DAY OF EXTENDED HOURS IN BURTON
Early voting nears its conclusion in Washington County and Burton ISD.
County Election Administrator Carol Jackson said 142 voters came to the ballot box on Wednesday for the constitutional amendment election. So far, 888 people have participated in the election.
Voting hours for the Washington County Courthouse Annex are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday).
In Burton ISD, there were 30 early voters on Wednesday for the bond election, bringing the total thus far to 366.
Extended hours are available today at the Burton High School auditorium from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with normal hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.
