CITIZENS STATE BANK WINS STATEWIDE BEST OF COMMUNITY BANKING AWARD
Citizens State Bank was recently honored by the Independent Bankers Association of Texas (IBAT) with a Best of Community Banking (BOCB) Award.
The bank received a Gold Eagle Award in the Marketing category for its “Centennial Celebration” campaign, which marked the bank’s 100th anniversary with a year-long celebration of the bank’s history and the customers, employees and communities that have shaped the organization over the past century.
The campaign focused on community engagement, customer appreciation and sharing the bank’s heritage, culminating in a community block party in Somerville.
2026 marks the 35th year that IBAT, the nation’s largest state community banking association, has celebrated the accomplishments of Texas community banks with the BOCB awards. The BOCB competition is designed to honor local banks for their commitment to helping their customers, neighbors, employees and community.
