CALDWELL ISD NAMES LONE FINALIST FOR SUPERINTENDENT
Caldwell ISD has selected a lone finalist for school district superintendent.
Dr. James Barton was named as the lone remaining candidate for the position by the Caldwell School Board at its meeting Wednesday.
Dr. Barton currently works as the Assistant Superintendent for Business and Campus Support in San Marcos Consolidated ISD.
Dr. Barton would replace Superintendent Andrew Peters, who is retiring at the end of December after joining the district in 2016.
The district has not yet determined a start date for Dr. Barton.
