BRENHAM POLICE ARREST MAN FOR ASSAULT THURSDAY

Brenham Police arrested a man late Thursday evening on an assault charge.
On Thursday at 11:15 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Clayton Drive in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, investigation revealed a male identified as Reginald McCoy, 43 of Brenham, assaulted the victim and stayed on location till officers arrived. McCoy also had a criminal trespass for this location. McCoy was place into custody and transported to the Washington County jail for booking. He is charged with assault of a family or household member with a previous conviction and criminal trespass.
