FAITH MISSION SEEKING VOLUNTEERS, CONTRIBUTIONS FOR SALVATION ARMY BELL RINGING PROGRAM
Faith Mission in Brenham is seeking volunteers for the Salvation Army bell ringing program.
The 16th annual campaign allows citizens, civic groups, churches, corporations and others to serve for the holiday season, and to raise money to assist residents with their needs. All donations to the Salvation Army Red Kettle stay in Washington County.
Volunteers are needed starting tomorrow (Saturday) at both entrances of Walmart in Brenham.
Sign-ups are available for four two-hour slots from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, ending on December 24th. No more than three people should be at each entrance per time slot.
Faith Mission has a fundraising goal this year of $40,000. Anyone looking to donate can do so by giving at the Red Kettle, collecting money as a group and making a donation at Brenham National Bank, or donating online at www.faithmission.us.
To sign up to volunteer, visit the website or call the Bell Cell Hotline at 979-421-3640.
