NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR WASHINGTON CO. MAN, WOMAN, SMALL BUSINESS OF YEAR

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is now taking nominations for 2021’s Man and Woman of the Year and Small Business of the Year.

The Chamber’s long-standing tradition recognizes the achievements and contributions of two individuals, as well as two local small businesses with employees between 1-25 and 26-100.  2020’s winners were Kevin Deramus, Jennifer Eckermann, Must Be Heaven and Bank of Brenham.

Award recipients will be announced at the annual banquet held by the Chamber and the Brenham Economic Development Foundation.  The 2022 banquet will be held on January 25th.

Prior to the banquet, the immediate past chairman of the Chamber board will convene a committee made up of past award recipients to review nominations and vote on this year’s candidates.

Nomination forms, which include judging criteria, are now available.  They can be obtained by either contacting the Chamber to have a form emailed, or they can be downloaded from www.brenhamtexas.com under “News & Events.”
