BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES ANNOUNCES FINAL FUNDRAISING RESULTS
A total of $926,880 was raised through October’s Brazos Valley Gives event for 154 participating nonprofits.
The total was announced by the Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley during a celebration of community philanthropy event on Tuesday, also known as Giving Tuesday.
The event tallied over $110,000 in additional sponsor-supported incentives and prize money to add onto the $808,605 raised during the initial online fundraiser on October 19th.
Approximately 3,495 donations were made during the event, including contributions from over 1,300 first-time donors.
The fundraiser supports nonprofit organizations throughout the seven-county region of the Brazos Valley.
The next Brazos Valley Gives event is set for October 18, 2022.
