HOUSTON MAN CHARGED WITH DWI, UNLAWFUL CARRYING OF WEAPON

A Houston man was arrested on Wednesday by Brenham police on intoxication and unlawful weapon carrying charges.
Around 10:45 p.m., Officer Brayten Rolling conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Highway 290 East.
During the investigation, police say they found that the driver was intoxicated and in possession of a handgun.
21-year-old Jose Rico was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Driving While Intoxicated and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.
