BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED WEDNESDAY DURING FOOT PATROL

  

A Brenham man was arrested Wednesday after the Brenham Police Department was advised that a wanted subject was seen in the area.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday at 8:40 AM, Cpl. Jimmy Ha conducted a foot patrol in the 500 block of College Avenue after being advised that a wanted subject had been seen in the area.  Cpl. Ha was able to make contact with Denzel Ellis, 39 of Brenham, who did have an active warrant for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone out of Washington County.  Ellis was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in on the warrant.
