NO INJURIES AFTER FIRE AT BRENHAM VILLAGE APARTMENTS
No one was injured Thursday afternoon after a fire at a Brenham apartment complex.
Shortly before 12:45 p.m., the Brenham Fire Department responded to the Brenham Village Apartments in the 700 block of Pleasant View Avenue for a reported structure fire.
When firefighters arrived, they found moderate smoke coming out of one apartment. They went inside the unit and discovered a fire had been on the stove, causing it to burn along with the wall and ceiling.
Firefighters contained the damage to the kitchen area.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
