MILL CREEK WATERSHED PARTNERSHIP MEETING FEB. 10
The Mill Creek Watershed Partnership is set to host a partnership meeting next month.
The meeting will take place Thursday, February 10th from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in Bellville, at 800 East Wendt Street. In-person and virtual attendance options will be available.
The meeting will be open to the public, providing updates on the Mill Creek Watershed Protection Plan. Participants are invited to discuss local water quality issues and the implementation of the plan. Dinner will be provided.
The Mill Creek Watershed Partnership was created in 2014 by stakeholders who wished to take voluntary actions to improve water quality.
Mill Creek is formed by two branches, the east and west forks of Mill Creek in southwest Washington County which unite near Bellville to form the main stem. Mill Creek then flows 14 miles southeast, where it merges with the Brazos River.
Anyone who would like to attend the meeting can RSVP online at https://austin.agrilife.org no later than February 8th. Guests can also RSVP by calling AgriLife Extension Agent Stacie Villarreal at 979-865-8072, or Watershed Coordinator Evgenia Spears at 979-845-2862.
