Romo serves as vice president of governmental affairs for The Cooper Institute in Dallas and is also president and founder of Texana Public Affairs, which focuses on local, state and federal legislative affairs.  He has nearly 30 years of experience at the Texas Legislature, where he served as chief of staff for members of the Texas House.  He currently serves as president of the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce.

Bank of Brenham President Jim Kruse said Crocker “will be an asset to our board” with his track record in banking, involvement in business and civic organizations, and insight into the community.  Kruse said Romo’s background in state and local government, community connections and involvement with the Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce and other organizations “will prove to be invaluable to our Bank of Brenham board.”
