Blinn very nearly pulled off a comeback after trailing 25-15 at the end of the first quarter. The Buccaneers trailed 39-32 at the half and just 54-52 heading into the fourth period.
“It was a great team effort tonight,” Blinn head coach Jeff Jenkins said. “We missed some open 3-pointers, but I never get mad at missed shots; it happens to the best of players and teams.”

Blinn originally was scheduled to face Paris Junior College in a region home matchup on Saturday, Jan. 15, but that game has been moved to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, at the Kruse Center in Brenham, Texas.
