WINNERS OF WASHINGTON CO. GO TEXAN COOK-OFF ANNOUNCED

  

Organizers for the annual Washington County Go Texan fundraiser are calling this weekend’s event a success.

A total of 29 cook-off teams gathered at La Bahia Hall in Burton on Friday and Saturday to cook up some good barbecue and raise money for Brenham and Burton students.

Organizers are still calculating final numbers from the fundraiser, but say the event had a solid turnout and thank all participants and sponsors.
