BLINN VICE CHANCELLOR BEING HONORED BY PHI THETA KAPPA

  

Blinn College District Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Marcelo Bussiki is being honored for his work to support high-achieving Blinn students.

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is going to present Dr. Bussiki with their Distinguished College Administrator Award at PTK Catalyst 2022.

PTK Catalyst 2022 is Phi Theta Kappa’s annual convention, which is being held April 7-9 in Denver, Colorado.

Bussiki and 27 other college leaders were selected from thousands of eligible administrators across the nation.

As Vice Chancellor, Bussiki oversees seven different divisions at Blinn, along with the College’s academic success and on-line programs.

Bussiki, who is a native of Brazil, first joined Blinn as a music instructor back in 2001.

Since becoming Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Bussiki has placed an emphasis on growing Blinn’s on-line course offerings and developing new transfer pathways for students.
