RIBBON CUTTING HELD AT COTTON GIN IN BURTON

A ribbon cutting was held this (Friday) morning for the expansion of the Texas Cotton Gin Museum in Burton.  The ribbon cutting was for the expansion of the Oliver Whitener – Roy Winkler Pavilion, which doubles the size of the pavilion.  It also includes a new concrete driveway and parking area for the Cotton Gin Museum.  The pavilion was expanded just in time for this weekend’s Annual Texas Ranger Day.  The expanded pavilion will also be utilized at the Burton Cotton Gin Festival on April 23rd this year and other spring activities.
