ROYERS CAFE WINS MEGAN THEE STALLION’S PIE CHALLENGE

  

The famous pies of Royers Café in Round Top have garnered the approval of a well-known rapper from Houston.

Royers’ White Texas Trash Pie was the winner of Megan Thee Stallion’s pie challenge, as she releases her own pie, the H-Town Hottie, in celebration of Pi Day.  The contest featured nine pies from bakeries across the country.

Royers had two pies in the competition, those being the Texas Trash Pie and the White Texas Trash Pie.  The Texas Trash Pie includes chocolate chips, coconut, caramel, graham crackers, pecans and pretzels.  The White Texas Trash Pie has the same ingredients, but is made instead with white chocolate.

In an Instagram video from Goldbelly, Megan gave her approval to both of Royers’ pies in the contest, and gave a shout out to Texas, saying they “know exactly how to make my taste buds dance.”

As part of Pi Day, Royers was also a guest on FOX 26 in Houston on Monday to showcase the Texas Trash Pie.
