WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER TO HOST ADMIN PROFESSIONALS’ APPRECIATION LUNCHEON APRIL 28

Registration is open for the Washington County Chamber of Commerce’s 8th Annual Administrative Professionals’ Appreciation Luncheon.

The event will be held Thursday, April 28th at 11:30 a.m. in the Blinn College Student Center Banquet Room.

The guest speaker will be Wanda Smith, a teacher at Brenham Elementary School whose story of working her way up from being a custodian and bus monitor was covered by Jenna Bush-Hager on NBC’s Today Show.  Inspired by Smith’s determination to become a teacher, Sam Houston State University, her alma mater, created the “Wanda Smith ‘Make a Difference’ Scholarship” for first-generation students pursuing careers in teaching.

Along with the lunch and program, attendees will receive gifts and have the opportunity to win door prizes.

KWHI and KTEX-106 are headline sponsors for the luncheon.

Tickets are $25 for Chamber members, $35 for non-members and $250 for a reserved table seating eight.  Exhibit or vendor tables are $100.  Seating is limited.
