BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED TUESDAY ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

A Brenham man was arrested Tuesday night on multiple charges after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday at 10:15 PM, Officers initiated a traffic stop near the 3100 block of Highway 36 South. An investigation was conducted and the driver, Marcelo Rivas, 43 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Fleeing a Police Officer, Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 OZ, and Possession of a Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility.
