THE NAVASOTA KIWANIS CLUB IS HOSTING THEIR 7TH ANNUAL CHILI COOKOFF

  

The Navasota Kiwanis Club will be hosting their 7th Annual Chili Cookoff this Saturday.

This year’s cookoff is being held in memory of Marvin Longabaugh.

The Cookoff is being held at the 7-D Ranch located at 2729 County Road 305 in Navasota with the gates scheduled to open at 8am.

The entry fee for the Chili Cookoff is $25 and due by 1pm.  There is also a cornbread contest that likewise has a $25 entry fee and is due by 1pm.

In addition to that, there will be a car and motorcycle show, that also has a $25 entry fee.

Trophies will be awarded to Best in Show, People’s Choice, Best Chili, and Best Cornbread.

They are also offering free activities such as fishing, horseshoes, washers, dancing, and live entertainment.

All proceeds from the Kiwanis Chili Cookoff go to benefit at-risk youth in Grimes County.
