CHAPPELL HILL GETTING READY FOR BLUEBONNET FESTIVAL

Chappell Hill is preparing to welcome thousands for the “Official State of Texas Bluebonnet Festival”.

The Chappell Hill Historical Society’s annual spring festival is set for Saturday, April 9th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 10th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Chappell Hill.

Over 250 juried arts and crafts vendors will be on hand, and there will be food booths, live music and children’s activities.  Guests are invited to tour the community’s historic buildings and visit local businesses while enjoying the bluebonnets blooming around the area.

Last year’s event drew historic attendance numbers, and organizers plan for that to be the case again this year.  Chappell Hill Historical Society President Liz Rigney said the festival is sold out of booth space and expects a record crowd.

Admission is free, and parking is $10.
